Unbelievable: University Student Celebrates Her Graduation By Posing With A Massive Alligator (Photos)

The daring 21-year-old's graduation ceremony will be held this coming Friday
A university student took her graduation photographs to a whole new level – by posing alongside a 13-foot alligator.
Makenzie Noland’s daring snaps have left the world stunned after the Texas A&M graduate took an unorthodox route for her commemorative photos.
The 21-year-old graduate earned her degree in wildlife and fisheries science, and has been working as an intern at the Gator County rescue centre in Beaumont, Texas since finishing classes in May.

Makenzie balances her graduation class ring on the alligator's nose
She posted the photographs on her Facebook page with the caption “Not your typical graduation picture”.
One of the photos shows Noland balancing her graduation ring on the nose of the alligator, named Big Tex, while wearing her Texas A&M sash and cap.
Noland developed a special bond with the animal after working closely with him since her first day at the animal centre.
The graduate is responsible for Big Tex’s daily feeding sessions, which often attract a large crowd, and the beast has never attempted to harm Noland.

Big Tex, seen here balancing the ring on his nose, is said to be 'a little too friendly'
Speaking to the Wichita Eagle, Noland said:  “He’s one of my best friends here. It’s something I’m super proud of.
“It took him a few weeks for him to like me.”
She added:  "I call him over, talk all sweet to him, tickle his nose, and reassure him that I'm not going to hurt him.”
The alligator was caught at Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge in Oct. 2016 after he started becoming “a little too friendly,” according to a Facebook post from the refuge.
The post claimed that Big Tex had  “lost his fear of humans” because people were feeding him, adding:  “While the animal had not aggressively attacked anyone yet, it was considered a little too close for comfort.”
Big Tex was captured and now gets to  “live the remainder of his life at Gator Country".

Red Star Belgrade 2-0 Liverpool ratings as Daniel Sturridge branded 'selfish'

England striker 'rightly subbed' at white-hot Rajko Mitić Stadium as Milan Pavkov hits superb double

Liverpool had a night to forget in Belgrade.

Shoddy first half defending and wayward shooting in the second period meant Jurgen Klopp's men crashed to their third successive away defeat in the Champions League.

That's after losses to AS Roma and Napoli, with Klopp's men second best in Serbia too.

Milan Pavkov did the damage, with an early header when he out-foxed the Liverpool  defence, before a fine strike past Alisson.

Despite being picked in place of Firmino, Daniel Sturridge endured a toough night.

The striker was hooked at half time, with his performance branded 'selfish'.

Here's how the rest of the side rated...

Egypt: 19 Militias killed by police

Egypt: 19 Militias killed by police

Nineteen Islamist militants accused of carrying out a deadly attack on Christians in Egypt have been killed by police, the interior ministry says.
They died in a shoot-out after police pursued "fugitive terrorist elements" into the desert area west of Minya province, the statement said.
Seven Coptic Christians were killed in an attack on two buses near a monastery in Minya on Friday.
The Islamic State (IS) group has said it carried out the attack.
It was the latest in a series of attacks by extremists on Egypts Coptic Christian minority.
The ministry said security forces had exchanged fire with "terrorist elements" they were pursuing, although it did not say exactly when the firefight happened.
The ministry posted images of bodies and a tent in which the militants were said to have been hiding. Guns, rifles and IS propaganda can be seen next to the bodies.
Fridays attack near the Monastery of St Samuel the Confessor in Minya also left at least seven other people wounded, including children, according to reports.
Funerals were held for the victims on Friday and Saturday, with many mourners expressing their anger.
"What do these terrorists want? Do they want us to hate Muslims?" said Michel, 23, who lost a neighbour in the attack.
The Copts, who make up most of the Christian minority, have in the past accused the authorities in Muslim-majority Egypt of making only token gestures to protect them from such attacks.
One at the same spot left 28 dead in May 2017.
Who are the Coptic Christians?
The Coptic Orthodox Church is the main Christian Church in Egypt. While most Copts live there, the church has about a million members outside the country.
Copts believe that their faith dates back to about AD50, when the Apostle Mark is said to have visited Egypt. The head of the church is called the Pope, and is considered to be the successor of Saint Mark.
The Coptic Church separated from other Christian denominations at the Council of Chalcedon in 451, in a dispute over the human and divine nature of Jesus Christ.
The current Coptic Pope, Tawadros II, stepped away from social media last month by closing his official Facebook page.
